PRIVACY POLICY

I’ve created this privacy policy to demonstrate my firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. The following Privacy Statement provides details about how your personal information is collected and used and it applies to my entire network of NZ Debt Collection websites, products and services.

Information Collection and Use
I am the sole owner of personal information collected on this site. I will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Persons Or Parties Covered By This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is intended to cover all visitors to my websites, all subscribers to lists or newsletters whether paid or unpaid, all members or affiliates whether paid or unpaid, and all members.

Sharing and Usage
I will never share, sell, or rent your personal information to parties outside my company for their promotional use. Occasionally, I may enter into contracts with third parties so that they can assist us in serving you (for example, providing member service). I strictly forbid these third parties to use any of your personal information for their own purposes, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information I provide to them. I may disclose or report personal information in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required under the law. For example, I may be required to disclose personal information to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, to comply with a legal process such as court order, subpoena, search warrant, or law enforcement request.

Use of Web Technologies
I use a variety of technologies on my sites. Among these are cookies; a piece of information that my websites provide to your browser when you visit my sites. Cookies allow me to verify the login status of members using products or services linked directly with my website, track point of entry to point of registration for those users participating in my affiliate programs, and to track and measure the success of a particular marketing campaign. Cookies also allow me to track overall site usage and determine areas users prefer, enabling me to make your visit to my websites easier by recognizing you when you return and helping to provide you with a customized experience. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on my sites. If you choose to disable cookies, you may still use my sites; however, you may have limited access to some areas within my websites.

I may access and set cookies using web beacons, also known as single-pixel GIFs which are invisible graphical images. These web beacons provide me useful information regarding my site such as which pages users access. When we send you emails, I may include a single-pixel GIF to allow me to determine the number of people who open my emails. When you click on a link in an email, I record this individual response to allow me to customize my offerings to you.

I also keep track of activity on my website via log files stored on my web servers. I collect information such as IP address, browser type and version, and pages you view. I also keep track of how you got to my site and any links you click on to leave my site. Once you leave my site, I do not track you. I use your website activity to assist me in offering you a personalized Web experience, assist you with technical support, diagnose problems with my server, administer my websites and to tailor my product and service offerings to you.

Links
Some of my sites provide links to third-party websites, such as those of my business partners and online advertisers. While on these sites, I may collect information about you. Because I do not control the information policies or practices of these third parties, you should review their privacy policies to learn more about how they collect and use personally identifiable information.

Security
I take every precaution to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information by using industry-recognized security safeguards such as firewalls, coupled with carefully developed security procedures to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration. When I ask for sensitive information I protect it through the use of encryption during transmission, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Choice/Opt-Out
I provide you the opportunity to opt-in, opt-out or change preferences via a link in the footer of most email messages. These options are made available when you sign-up for my email lists and in email messages I send you.

Some communications (e.g. important account notifications and billing information) are necessary for all my members. You must cancel your account to unsubscribe from these communications.

If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to debtcollection@nzdebtcollection.co.nz for review.

SPAM
By providing me with any information that forms the basis of communication with you, such as an email address, you waive all rights to file complaints concerning unsolicited email or SPAM from me or my website since by providing such information you agree to receive communication from me. However, all email communication with you shall contain an ‘unsubscribe’ link where you may notify me that you no longer wish to receive solicitations or information from me.

Information Obtained From Referring Email Or Referring URL’s
If you send a friend an email from this site or if you send the url or one of our web pages to a friend, you must assume that some data is collected about your IP address or your email address and that of your friend. You must assume that referred emails or web pages may appear to come from your email. You must accept fully responsibility for referring pages or email to a friend and agree to indemnify this site for any damage, intentional or unintentional that results from said referrals.

Why Did You Receive An Email From Me?

If you received a mailing from me, (a) your email address is either listed with me as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (”opt-in”), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with me. I respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of my mailings.

Privacy Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy is dynamic. It may change at any time. If I decide to change my privacy policy, I will post those changes on my websites. So my members are always aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I disclose it.
